How to map Shopify Revenue & COGS Accounts
Shopify Revenue & COGS Accounts mapping with Odoo refers to the process of linking Shopify’s Revenue and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) accounts with Odoo’s accounting system. This allows you to track your Shopify sales and expenses directly within Odoo.
As we are in need of having separate Sales & COGS account, Shopify sites/ instances should be mapped to the relevant COGS & REVENUE account.
01. Navigate in to shopify module in the dash board
02. Under the configuration click on Instances
03. Here you can see all the relevant instances/sites you have connected to the odoo.
04. Once you click over the site name you will be able to see the configurations to the particular site, and under the Account section you have to set up the relevant income and expense account
