How to Compute Depreciation

Depreciation in Odoo refers to the reduction in value of an asset over time due to wear and tear or obsolescence.

Technically, we do not need to manually compute our depreciation in Odoo. When we create an Asset, the  "COMPUTE DEPRECIATION"  is already available. Clicking the said button will make the depreciation board available, presenting the Depreciation for that particular asset.  




Once you check on your journals, you will see the journal entries in  DRAFT  and Odoo will post those entries on therelevant date.
