Rostering - Actions: Employee, Export & Print

There is a number of options under the 'Roster actions' button that can be utilized for various rostering tasks.

Rostering Action: Employees

In the event that there are many employees, this will display a list of all currently employed individuals at the company along with a search field.

Go to Roster action, click on employees

From the employee menu you can search for the employees and select the employee you wanted to view

Once you select the employee you can see three tabs, work summaryavailability and details.

Work summary shows the shift details if the employee.

Availability tab you can see the upcoming leave for the employee and set unavailability of the employee as well.

Rostering Action: Recalculate costs

Go to rostering action and select recalculate shift costs then the estimated cost for the employees will be calculated.

This is a handy option when details of your employees earnings have changed after a shift has been created for them which would affect the cost calculation of their shift. For example, you may have rostered a shift which calculated their rate based off $35 an hour, but they have since had a pay rise. You can use the 'Recalculate shift costs' to have the new rate be used for the shift costs. This can be used on both published and unpublished shifts.

Rostering Action: Export

The export function allows you to export the roster to Excel. In order to select the date range for the export, simply click on the calendar within the date box of the export context panel.

Go to rostering action and select Export, the shifts will be downloaded in an excel file.

Rostering Action: Print

You are able to print the roster using a number of groupings and filters. By clicking into each field you'll be given more options, and the toggles allow you to include/not include a range of additional data. Once printed as a PDF, you'll see the roster, along with the last page being a print out of the roster print filters that have been used.

Go to rostering action and select print, the feed the details you wanted to show up in the printed document and click print.
