Live-view with Geolocation Report
Clock Me In (CMI) and WorkZone create real-time clocking activities, which are displayed in Live View.
The Live View Report can be accessed under the Time and Attendance category on the Reports home page:
Users that access the report will see the following live data:
Employee clocking activity status, i.e. are they clocked in, on a break, returning after a break, or clocked out?
All clocking activities' actual time;
All clocking operations are depicted on a map.
Employee selects work location when clocking in; Employee selects work type (if any) when clocking in;
Employee photo taken for all clocking operations (if this feature is enabled).
Live View can be accessed from any device, at any time and from any location. Live View is enabled by default for full access users and can be found in the Reports module under the "Time & Attendance" section. Restricted users (for example, Managers) can also access Live View after being granted authorization to this report.
When in Live View, managers can easily identify if employees have not clocked out after their rostered finish time:
Now, when you click on an employee’s record to view further details, you will see the options to clock out the employee or discard the employee’s shift:
To clock out an employee on their behalf, simply click on “Clock Out Employee”. The following modal will appear:
Once you confirm by clicking on “Clock Out”, Live View will record the clocking activity and a timesheet will be created for that shift. At this stage, the manager can then proceed to approve the timesheet or amend the timesheet – both actions are performed via the Approve Timesheets screen.
To discard the shift, click on “Discard Shift”.
The clocking activity will be logged in Live View when you confirm by clicking "Discard Shift," but no timesheet will be created. The management can either create a timesheet on behalf of the employee or advise the employee to do so themselves.
This feature is a crucial time-saving tool for managers. Managers used to have to rely completely on staff remembering to clock out. They may now keep track of missing clocking activities and instantly correct them - all in real time.
