Compare Rostered Shifts to Timesheets when approving

Follow these steps to compare the hours on the roster to the hours actually put on the timesheets:

Go to Approve Timesheets from timesheet dashboard.



Set the date range for the timesheets you want to approve on the timesheet approval screen.


If there are scheduled items available to compare with the timesheets, you will see the "Compare with Schedule" button.



Click the "Compare with roster" button and any differences between rostered and actual hours will be highlighted in blue.


A "missing timesheet" notice will appear if an employee is rostered into a shift but does not submit any timesheets for that shift. The details of the rostered shift will be underlined next to it.



Other than missing timesheets, the discrepancy between the timesheets and rosters are highlighted in blue for you to review it and do some changes accordingly.



Once you completed with the comparation click on "Compare with roster" again, the highlighted shifts will disappear so you can do now some changes or notify employees if needed.
