You've successfully created a warehouse! Let's know more about Operations Types.

When you create a new warehouse in Odoo, different operation types are also created like the Receipts, Internal Transfers, and Delivery Orders. These are the basic operation types in Odoo.

You can also create and edit operation types. You can create a specific operation type for each warehouse.

Create an Operation Type

1. Go to Inventory > Configuration > Operations Type.

2. Click Create, to create a new operations type.

3. Fill in the required details to create a new operations type.

• Operation Type: Naming Text Field (General Contextualized on Type of Operation.)
• Code: Short List Code for Warehouse Identification Ease
• Warehouse: Source Warehouse you wish this operation to enact beneath
• Type of Operations: Function Category this Operation Type is Structured for
• Default Source Location: Where this operation is grabbing stock from 
• Destination Location: Where this operation is moving stock to

4. Click Save to successfully create an operations type.
