Creating a Sales Order


1.Navigate to Sales Module>Orders> Orders

2.Click New


3. Select a customer. All the customer related details will be auto populated from the customer contact card if the customer exists in Odoo already. Fill in the expiration date.

Click on add a product to add a product.

 


4. Click on other info. 


5. Click on Confirm to Confirm the Sales Order.


You will be able to see the change in the log notes. 

6. Click on Confirm to Confirm the Sales Order.


7. Click on the cancel button to cancel the sales order



8. Click on send and cancel to send a mail to the customer and cancel the sales order, Click on cancel to cancel the sales order.


It will show in the log notes after you cancel the order.


9. Click on Set to Quotation



10. It will show in the log notes. 


Editing a Sales Order.

Note- To Edit the sales order, it should be in the quotation stage.  

1. Edit the Sales Order which is in the quotation stage. Then click on confirm to confirm the sales order.

Eg - In this example edit the quantity.


12. The changes will be shown in the log notes.
