Integrating Landed Costs to Products

The Landed Cost feature in Odoo allows to include additional costs (shipment, insurance, customs duties, etc.) into the cost of the product.

The process of Integrating Landed Costs to Products will be broken up into 3 individual steps: (Procedurally Applicable)

• Service Product Creation
• Purchase Order Creation and Receipt
• Create Landed Costs
  
  

Service Product Creation

1. To create a service product for freight, go to Inventory Module > Products > New.

2. In the General Information tab, select the product type as "Service"

3. In the Purchase tab, Tick the "Is a Landed Cost" option. Afterward, click Save.
Default Split Method - Select from Equal, By quantity, By Current Cost, By Weight, and By Volume
