How to create Wages related G/L account and map it in Oopay Primary Accounts & Location Specific Accounts
I. Wages related G/L account
Go to payroll setting and Chart of accounts in business settingt
Click on Manage Account to add new Wages related G/L account.
Add the new G/L account details, enter the Account Code, Account Name and Account Type. Once done, click the Add (+) button.
Once newly added G\L account is added you can now map it in Oopay.
*Please take note, before creating new G/L account in Oopay make sure to create the same G/L account in Odoo so when it is mapped in Oopay payroll journals will be generated according to same G/L account details that can be imported directly in Odoo.
II. Mapping the new account in Primary Accounts
After creating new wages related G/L account you can now map it in Oopay Primary accounts.
In Primary Accounts, select the from Default, Pay Categories, Deduction Categories, Expense Categories & Leave Provision accounts you will map the newly create G/L account.
Unfold and map the G/L account into category or account accordingly.
II. Mapping the new account in Location Specific Accounts.
For OPC Pty Ltd., Wages Expense and Superannuation Expense accounts should be mapped location-wise and not according to default accounts. Therefore if there is new location, make sure to map the new Wages expense and Superannuation accounts related to new location accordingly.
In Location Specific Locations, click Add button.
Select the new location.
And in Default Accounts, ensure to map the new location's wages expense and superannuation expense accounts.
